Paul Richmond is a barrister at 1 Mitre Court Buildings specialising in all aspects of immigration, asylum and human rights law.

Paul also has a wide range of experience in promoting international human rights and the rule of law worldwide.  He is an expert on trial observation and is regularly engaged by non-governmental, governmental and inter-governmental organisations to:

• conduct international fact-finding and monitoring missions;
• provide training to judges, lawyers and human rights defenders;
• assist in litigation before international courts and tribunals; and
• write reports and training manuals.
